The ability to have local impact, offer national services and access a worldwide network allows the International Y to touch thousands of live each year, and has been doing so since 1911. The International Y works locally, nationally, and internationally, bring people together in local YMCAs, summer camps, school, business, and in the homes of local families.
In 2009, the International YMCA strives to serve over 9,000 young people through its wide variety of programs.

Strong Kids
Because of contributions to the YMCA’s annual Strong Kids Campaign, no child or family is turned away from Y programs and services because of the inability to pay.
In 2008, the YMCA of Greater New York provided financial assistance to thousands of local youth and families in need through the full range of YMCA offerings including day camp, child care, after-school programs and a wide variety of youth and teen recreation and outreach activities.
The YMCA of Greater New York is committed to the healthy development of all kids. They are counting on us, and we are counting on you. The Founding Members of the International YMCA YOUNG PROFESSIONALS SOCIETY invite you to join us.
